  3. Take oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, cumin, cardamom, and cloves. Add ginger garlic paste. Then add masala paste. Do not add any water at this point. Let it fry well and let all water evaporate. Sometime in the middle while frying, add 2 tsp chilli powder, 0.5 tsp turmeric powder and salt.
  4. When paste is almost done cooking, add 2 tsp dhania powder and 1 tsp garam masala. Add water as desired.
    Add coriander leaves, mint leaves and lemon juice as needed.
  5. Add paneer cubes and let it cook for a while till the paneer absorbs the masala.
