- 6 cups Boiling water
- 4tbsp + 1tsp Ghee
- 1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds

- 2 tsp Urad dal (black gram)
- 2 Dry red chilli
- 10 Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Hing (asafoetida)
- 10 Cashew chopped
- 1 cup Chopped onions
- 1 tsp Chopped ginger
- 1/2 cup Chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Chopped green beans
- 1/2 cup Chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup Green peas
- as per taste Salt and chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- as required Coriander leaves to garnish (chopped)

- First, dry roast the semolina on medium heat till aromatic and remove on a plate.

- Now Upma is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with sambhar and chutney.
