- 2 Cardamoms
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 piece mace
Instructions to make Kashmiri Dum Aloo
- Firstly, parboil the baby potatoes and let them cool. Prick them with a toothpick on all sides. Coat them with red chilli powder and salt and let them sit for some time.
- Now, let’s prepare ground masala powder. Dry roast all the ingredients for ground masala powder and let it cool down. Grind this mixture into fine powder.
- Deseed the red chillies and soak them in some hot water for about 20 minutes. Grind it into a fine paste.
- Take some oil in a pan. Roast the baby potatoes until golden brown.
- Take some curd in a bowl. Add red chilli paste to it. Also add some ground masala powder and dry ginger powder. Using a whisk, combine everything so that it turns smooth and creamy.
